FreightOps truck GPS tracking and stop check-in
FreightOps follows each truck from the driver’s phone while work is under way. The office sees freight loads on their live route, jobs on a map of every site and truck, and the exact time each stop was reached and left.
Freight
A live trip route for every freight load
Load Details shows the truck, the stops still to run and how many are done. With auto check-in on, stops complete themselves on arrival, and the GPS trail of the trip can be shown on the same map.

Stops
Arrived and Left from an arrival radius
A stop records Arrived when the truck enters its radius and Left when it moves out. Set the radius for the whole company, for one load or for a single stop, down to 25 feet.
- Stop times visible to the office as they happen
Jobs
One map of every truck on a job
A job opens on its live map: every site, and every truck coloured by the site it is at or driving to, with a legend that counts them. Beside it, each truck’s status reads At North Pit or Driving to Route 9 Fill, with its trips so far.
Route 9 Widening
Active- Sites drawn with their arrival circles
- No single driver pinned over the map
Questions
Live tracking questions
Does tracking run with the app in the background?
Yes, during active loads and with the driver’s consent. Fully closing the app stops background tracking.
How close must a truck be to count as Arrived?
Inside the stop’s arrival radius, which you can set down to 25 feet.
What happens with a weak GPS signal?
A position the phone itself reports as more than 1,000 m off does not add trail miles, change an IFTA state or set stop times.
Can I see trucks that are not on a trip?
Yes. The Equipment map shows every truck and piece of equipment where it was last seen.
