IFTA mileage, fuel and expense tracking in FreightOps

Miles by state come from each trip’s GPS trail, gallons come from fuel receipts, and every expense sits in one list by category and truck. At the end of the quarter the IFTA worksheet is already filled in.

IFTA

A quarterly IFTA worksheet, ready to file

Pick the quarter and the worksheet shows total miles, total gallons, fleet MPG and fuel spend, then net taxable gallons for each state. When every trip has its miles and every fuel receipt its gallons, it reads Ready to file.

  • Export CSV
  • Trips or fuel missing inputs flagged before you file

Miles by state

Miles split by state from the GPS trail

When a trip completes, FreightOps splits its miles by state from the trip’s GPS trail. You can edit a trip’s miles by hand or run Auto-detect again, and the worksheet follows.

  • Edit by hand or Auto-detect miles

Expenses

Receipts, recurring costs and deductible totals

Upload receipts and AI fills in the expense. Expenses shows what you spent, what is deductible and what still needs review, with spend by category, truck and scope. Costs that repeat, such as insurance, can recur every week, 2 weeks, month, 3 months or year.

  • Spend by category, truck and scope
  • Recurring expenses with their next date
