Hourly jobs, scale tickets and time cards in FreightOps

Jobs run hourly and per-ton hauling between load sites and dump sites. The office runs each job from one operations screen, drivers work trip after trip from the app, and every trip lands on a time card with its weight.

Operations

One operations screen for each job

A job opens on its live map with the trucks in use, the loads done against the target and the end time. Sites lists each load site and dump site with its progress, and crews show your own drivers beside partner companies. Move one truck or a group to another site from here.

  • Several dump sites on one job
  • Crews & codes, Tickets, Chats, Export, Billing and Pay

Drivers

Trip after trip from the driver app

The driver sees the next trip, from the load site to the dump site, with Navigate to the next place. Each trip starts and ends from the card, and the scale ticket is scanned, uploaded or entered by hand on that trip.

  • Trips today with their times and weights
  • Work time on the same screen

Live map

Watch trips cycle between sites

Every truck on the job shows on the map, coloured by the site it is at or driving to, and the trucks list reads At North Pit or Driving to Route 9 Fill for each one.

  • Site circles with their own arrival radius

Questions

Hourly jobs questions

How can hourly work be paid?

Per hour, per load or per ton.

Can a job have more than one dump site?

Yes. A job has as many load and dump sites as it needs, and trucks can be moved between them.

How are scale tickets entered?

The driver scans or uploads the ticket and FreightOps reads the weight, or the driver enters it by hand.

Can I export time cards?

Yes, as CSV or PDF, with the trip times and the fields you pick.

Can another company’s trucks work my job?

Yes. Partner companies join as crews beside your own drivers.
